Community Quarterly Magazine is a free Chinatown bilingual community quarterly publication through with the support of the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California, Chinese American Civic Alliance, and many community members. The magazine itself has more community-based content and is targeted to a general audience, and the project will also host community engagement based events in the future.

The magazine's official release/launch party will be this coming Friday, Sept 15th, at the LA County Historic Park's Welcome Center (1245 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles CA, 90012). The event is all ages, feel free to bring anyone! The park has a parking lot that should be free after hours, or you can park on the street.

There will be some food sponsored by local businesses, karaoke and lion dance by the East Wind Lion Dance Troupe at 7 pm.
